I am back on Loopzilla with my second mix, which is called ‘nucleons in my house‘. Nucleons are sub-atomic particles and I thought that would be right for a deep and mellow house mix.
Tom Larson’s Deep Side mix here on Sonic Walker inspired me to make this mix and I hope you enjoy this one as well.
For Zimmer-Records I have compiled and mixed some harder techno tracks, which reminded me of the time when I lived in the German Ruhrgebiet. I called the mix Ruhrschnellweg, which is the name of the main road connecting some of the central towns in the area. I am very pleased to welcome Seth Gekko on Sonic Walker. Seth is a very active German netlabel DJ and mastermind behind Loopzilla, a fellow DJ mix netlabel. Seth Gekko navigates with his netlabel mix between various styles of electronic music. The mix starts with minimal but funky tech-house, moves forward into Chicago house, becomes more technoid, presents some bits of IDM and ends minimal.
InVitro from Mexico who has previously released a mix here on Sonic Walker started his own blog with netlabel news and reviews for those among us speaking Spanish.
Just before the end of this month and before we release the next Sonic Walker mix, let’s have a look other netlabel mixes which have been published this month. Once again minimal techno is dominating.
