On August 27th and 28th, the DJExpo 2005 will take place in Amsterdam (the Netherlands). This new event provides hands-on access to the technology and equipment used to create today’s Dance music via artist presentations and demos, masterclasses, workshops etc. This is an end-user event, so people can also buy the latest DJ Gear and DJ Software. All the leading companies in the Dance industry (record labels, record stores, DJ gear, PA companies, synth gear, magazines, light & sound, laser companies will show their latest products.

Let’s groove on your roller or inline skates. DJ Mimo and DJ Sonic Walker will surprise you with a combination of disco classic and new beats.

Update:
Unfortunately only a few skaters showed up and it didn’t really seem to matter what kind of music we played. I took some disco classics, old school hip hop, mashups and remixes from the net and some R&B with me. Since the act before us played jazz influenced hip-hop, it might have been better if we didn’t start with pure Disco right away.
