John Dalling

Profile:
John Dalling was introduced to electronic music in 1992 through the UK rave scene, and first started producing tracks in 1994 under the name Psychadelik Pedestrian. John launched the Frantik Music website in October 1997 to promote his tracks and music by other UK artists; the name changed to Toucan Music in 2004, and a year later Toucan began releasing music as a netlabel. While continuing to produce instrumental, uplifting and sometimes experimental breaks and downtempo music under his Psychadelik Pedestrian alias, John also produces under a variety of other names including electro house as Beat Doctor and trance as JMD. In 2002, under the name Hyperterminal, John had some commercial success producing melodic trance with his track “Ascension” being featured by Dave Pearce on the BBC’s Radio 1.
Although best known as a producer, John has been DJing since 1996 and enjoys blending a mixture of his own music with favourite tracks from other artists in his sets, usually featuring a variety of music ranging from minimal progressive house to melodic commercial electro and trance.
